 Disclaimer: Pic not for the light hearted... and strictly not for kids... =) and WELCOME new visitor (hehe i'm sure u googled "real hard" to find my blog right?) leave a comment then i'll know u found me.. =) Hmmm.. just tot i share this intimate moment with all..since I super love this pic super super loads... haha was randomly taken back in Vietnam, in Dalat (when we set the camera on timer, and was giving sweet kisses to each other and then goes the camera) But hmmm the pic is SO nice right??? hahah anywayz.. am missing the Boy right at this moment..and I totally forgot to blog about this.... 21st June 2008 marks our 3 years of being together..but sadly..as per past 2 years...in 2006 he was at work in camp, in 2007- I was in Philippines..and in 2008.. it was his turn to be in Philippines... Anyhowz.. its been 3 years of Bliss and Love.. smooth sweet journey..and I can only say..What more should I ask for from God... for He has blessed me with a wonderful BF and a Hubs to be... who showers me with endless tender loving care..extends his arms for big big hugs... Tuesday, July 01, 2008 Updates on my driving
 Pic taken When i was in Philippines, Cebu~iLoiLo~ last year in June 2007... yupz the very place where the Typhoon Frank/fengshan hit... sigh..wondering how's everyone...if they are all fine... got an email from Japheth that some of the church members' house is gone... they are rebuilting them... but well Jap says God is good and they see God's wonderful mercy working hands and feel God's presence with them..... Thank God for that... I guess its really thru times of great trials and troubles that one turns to God..but to trust in Him and have faith in HIM even before those trials... hmm that's something i ought to do.....Anywayz... I went for my driving mock test today... hehe after 20 lessons... and now.. haha i can go for TP already... cleared all the stages i need to clear... now just got to wait for TP... and its a 3 months long wait...hahah cant wait actually for my test date.. cant wait to pass and drive around..(that's if i pass at first try of cos).... Happy Bday to VinVin
Bday boy came by to GH to pick me up from work...(haha isnt it supposed to be the other way round? hmm Vin next time i pick u up from ur place k after i get my license) and then we headed down to Clarke Quay to meet up with Papa Bear... Walked around... and then finally decided on having dinner over at Sun & Moon..since both of them haven eaten there before.. Little Monster was still at work..so we went ahead with dinner first... done with dinner and still little monster was still not here.... So we adjourned to Mr Bean for round 2.... the place that we once used to hang our pretty often for supper and late night kopis... hmmm well come to think of it..Kinda miss those times when we will just stay out late and just chill and crap and laugh away... now that we are all working and dun really get to hang out that late at night... So there at Mr Bean... waited for Little Monster to come... and then we got a small tiramisu cake for VinVin.... Little Monster and Vin Zoom in to the Bday boy... 7years of frenship.. one that started in an ulu waterfall-Kota Tinggi waterfalls..where we were playing Polar bear and Hunter and there was this irritant who kept saying i was the Polar bear... ARGGhhh... and well this irritant happened to share the same cab back to mainland with me...and so i kinda psycho-ed him to join my Sub Com... And so started our many many years of frenship to come... he went thru ups and downs with me..saw the ugliest and down moments in nus days..and provided me lots of support and listening ear.. studied together and always made sure i fed myself instead of starving... decided to brave the craziness of heading Log cell together with me and handled bout close to 10 sub com together... haha.. Anyhow... thanks Vin for everything... the past 7years of frenship and well for the many years to come... tot i did a little 'tribute' to you since it was ur bday..hehe just so to make ur day... Guess i wouldnt mind being branded as the polar bear umpteen times to have u as my "forever friend" (hahah u and me will know this *Winks*)... Sunday, June 29, 2008 My sunday with the Boy and MeiMei
 Travelling along ECP... my favourite view... I still remember in the past, when i do not get to travel along ECP that often..I love it when i go on Benjamin Sheares Bridge.... and i remember that When i was much younger...out with a fren... when we were both poor students... no money, no car, we actually decided to take a little walk up the bridge and just enjoy the view there..so anywayz... View from up there has changed abit... now there's a big round thing from where i used to look....  haha... its the Flyer... haven been on it yet...but well dun think i wanna be on it..not until everywhere around it is properly built and all... anywayz.. Boy and me left church after after almost everyone else had already left... and we brought MeiMei along with us to go gai gai... Went to City Hall area... parked over at Suntec and well shopped abit... and then we decided to try looking at wedding bands.. since we haven really gone looking for them yet... so yupz... went in to the usual to Sookee, to Citigems...and then we ended up over at Raffles City... So went to say hi to Rynthia at her workplace...and just opposite her work place... we spotted "Love & Co"... hmmm from the outlook of it..the deco and all.. I've always thought this place was another Tiff n Co place... but well since it was calling out to us.. we went in to take a look... The shop specialises in Wedding bands...hahha.. and well we kinda saw a pair that we quite like...and price was reasonable too.. lala... but well still wanna keep our options open... but at least we now know roughly the kind of rings we will be going for... Anywayz.. made our way back to West side..to get some money changed..before we headed back to my house area... to do some environmental stuff... haha.. Have collected tons of bottles from office over the past few months... and so..decided to recycle them...:   Haha was sooo funny..cos had put the bag of bottles in Boy's car the past few days.. and it feels like we were collecting rubbish lor... and well we gotten quite a bit of stares from passerbys when MeiMei and me were dumping the bottles into the bins... but well at least we are doing our bit for the environment.. =)Was a great Sunday...and sigh... kinda sianz that its MONDay already tml....... argh...monday blues.... Sushi Luncheon with my family
Presenting my 2 BRATS... Brat number 1 the BIMBO... and Brat number 2-MeiMei... Brat 1  Brat 2 Had to be back at work yesterday morning..(Sianz to the max) cos of programme.. now i realised the value of 5day work week only...cos its really a big big chore to actually be back at work on a Saturday...and well that makes ur weekend only 1 day..(Sunday that is) Anywayz... ended work, and my uncle was sending the Brats and aunty to churchie, and was going to bring them for lunch, so they came by GH to pick me up..and off we went to Tampines Sports Stadium for jap food luncheon... Our first time there..but was a note too bad place... each plate of sushi cost only $0.99.. CHEAP... but of cos sushi cheap means other stuffs were ex... but well at least not too bad..reasonable, affordable and nice ambience and food was good too..  Thereafter, we went to churchie... for GEL.. i was super early..so i caught a nap before it was GEL time... After GEL, boy and me went to Manjusri Sec for their school's guides and scouts campfire..Boy's scout group was there... so went by to visit and kaypoh.... and well the host were giving out sovenior items for the campfire by calling out school by school (that's usual)...and the surprising thing came when i heard them saying: "St Anthony's Canossian Secondary School"..... *DOT*DOT*DOT... my school was here?? and i didnt know even la.. called Captain..and she didnt know they had gone for the campfire...went over to look for SAC guides..and found them..No teacher accompanying... lalala... they said the other teacher in charge of guides (other then capt) knew they were coming to campfire... Gosh..how can she allow them to go campfire without any teachers and best..no consent forms even... lalala.. Anywayz... after the campfire.. went for supper over at Fong Seng together with Boy and gang... place changed abit..slightly more atas then before... food came much faster then before...and Price also increase quite a bit le...gosh..to think 5- 7 years ago..i used to hang out there pretty often... hahah I am growing OLD........ =( RaptureSoul

Thursday, June 26, 2008 Nana's back.... So its off to mambo we go..
 Got off work early today... Boy came by to pick me up..and we went over the his workplace campus over at ECP... he had some work stuff to settle...and well while waiting for him... i got down to doing some work..and also doing upour invite list for wedding...Gosh..church wedding we have close to 500 guest for now.. hahah..think need to cut some more... and praying hard for our church...cos its almost July and we have yet to settle our church.. anywayz.. went for quick bite before heading over to the usual wednesday place to meet the girlies... well i had actually changed my driving lessons to another day just so that i can mambo with nana and the girls longer that night...BUT..sigh..had meeting early next morning..so no choice now... The girlies... Amanda, NaNa, Rendy, Me and Zi  `It was really crowded over at dancefloor...and so.. we stayed up at Bar 3.. didnt even tried going over to our usual area, where NY works...and then.. was there the whole time.. looking down at peeps at the dancefloor... Realised that its quite entertaining to people watch from up there.. haha funny to see everyone dancing to the same moves in unison..haha anwayz.. i had to be the party pooper...cos needed to sleep.. and well basically still in my tired mood..still recovering from my package of illness... and cos boy was also sleepy and was kinda troubled with work stuffs... 2 sleepy and tired heads... and left at 12.30... gosh..its the earliest thus far that i have left... and for the record.. going there without hitting the dancefloor, without going anywhere near our usual place...and without sipping any drinks... Monday, June 23, 2008 The Lovable Boy is back!!
 Yupz.. he came back Last night.... i woke up on Sun morning for church..(slept from 6pm on sat til Sunday morning 8.30am) recuperating myself and catching up on loss sleep for the whole month of June... and yupz..went to churchie and then after church went gai gai before Boy's parents pick me up from town and drop me off at the airport...Welcomed him back to SporeSo anyway..he took the day off today...and since i had time off to clear... after my meeting in the morning..i left office too... and we headed to Vivocity... to have fun fun fun...  went gai gai together, eat and be recharged with pampering ourselves food... after a long while of not doing this.. and yupz just spending time together just the 2 of us.... had dinner over at the platform over looking Sentosa..(romantic huh..) haha   Both super sleepy and tired...but both face Spells JOY and happiness... and well...everything went on fine and well..everything would be perfect for the day..if not for the silly show we watched "The Happening"... argh... sad case M. Shamalan's show..no head no tail...dunno what's happening at all... (the twist of the show is that there is NO twist) Oh wellz.. headed back home..and gosh realised that time really past super fast when u're enjoying..and when u're not working.... arghhhhh work day tomorrow!!! Saturday, June 21, 2008 Girl Guides Walkathon..
 Was over at Girl Guide's walkathon this morning.. (darn...had a crazy hectic month of June already..and just when i tot everything's over...i suddenly remembered there was GGS Walkathon) and well i am in the planning com this year... although i only went for the very first meeting held.. haha.. in my own words.. i pumped the skeleton into the programme (fun dress and cheers element) to make the walk more fun.. long story about the way the walkathon programme is like.... Anyway... so went to Guides HQ super early... went to Bishan Park with some guides to set up the place...and lala when the crowd of guides started coming..it was quite interesting to see the fun dress peeps come in... Took 2 pics of this particular school that sent in 4 'mascots'..really cute huh? the theme was "woman leaders" and gosh there were Mother teresa, joan of arc, mulan, pocahantas, power puff girls, power rangers and a whole lot more....  and yupz.. the guest of honor was Kit Chan... but haha those were not the highlight for me... the highlight for me was actually having MILO from the MILO truck.. hahah.. super happy..haven had milo van's milo since my NUS days.... and well another highlight was... hehe met Mrs Balakrishna again and spoke to her again.... well she was rather 'impressed' with the Fun Dress thingy..and was just commenting on how she wants to make the walkathon an amazing race thingy...and BINGO...isnt Amazing race planning sort of my forte? haha but before i said anything.. she was saying she hope i will be able to be in the com for the walkathon again 2 years later.... lalala.. anyway... after the walkathon..SAC guides had COH (Court of Honor- meeting for leaders) to discuss the programme for the second half of the year... so yupz... was there for the meeting with the sec 3s (my dearest) haha...and it was there that i suddenly felt sick... Got cold...and felt feverish...sneezing away... well wasnt exactly suddenly la.. had cough and sore throat the past few days already...expected the package of illness coming...cos haven had enuff sleep, been soo busy the whole month cos of camps and all.... So yupz i'm home now..didnt go for GEL meet..cos feeling too weak and tired and felt that i shall be socially responsible for once..and not pass my germs around... think i shall head to bed soon....and YES happiness... the lovable boy's coming back tomorrow!!! cant wait... Thursday, June 19, 2008 Day 3 of Camp- 18.06.08
 Another one of those act cool.. act seh pic.. (hmm only that it wasnt acting...i'm all natural) hahah.. Alrighty..it was day 3 of camp.. woke up still feeling sticky and all.. went to BATH... and then get the girls ready for breakfast and all before we packed up and left the place.... Think most of the girls enjoyed the place..although at first mention of the place they were all "WAT???? si-mi-island? no lights? no aircon? no place to sleep?" haha.. well just before we left.. did a last "SW" thingy of bring them back to reality...doing a reality check with them..letting them realise that going to camp/holiday etc are always fun and all.... but we still have to come back to reality and face it ... and should it throw at us challenges and trials... we know we have to face them with lessons and skills we've picked up along the way and not escape from it again... Anywayz... left sisters island..and headed back to GH... and well hope the camp did fulfill some objectives of allowing self awareness and teamwork.... did see some working together well in their teams... but well as usual in all camps.. there are bound to be "outcasts" and also black sheeps that just cant be accepted or does not want to join in... but well am pretty proud of the ones who played as a team, worked as a team and even tried their very best at all despite the individual challenges they faced... Gave us good chance to do debrief and follow up with them.. relating and applying it to their life experiences... Me and Yiting  So we staff reached GH.. packed a little and then Haz, me and Teck went to Arab street for gai gai for their upcoming Jap trip stuffs and had our dinner before we went home... and have me concussing big time in bed..... lalalala... Day 2 of Camp - 17.06.08
 haha I love the picture above truck loads... thanks YZ for taking it without me knowing.. hehehehe Was day 2 of camp.. sianz.. work/main com always sleep the latest and wake up the earliest.. DARN.. not enuff sleep..super sleepy... but well still surviving... today was the day we were making our way to Sisters Island.. The groups left the "campsite" and made their own way to Marina South Pier... So me and Yi Ting (the volunteer aka student on SW attachement to YG) went to settle some admin stuffs and well had a good talk with her... caught up with the group that we were supposed to be attached to at tampines..and went over to Marina South Pier.. It was my first time over to sisters island and so..haha was equally excited about it as the girls... YZ and ME  Reached Sister's island and it was settling in...and all.. girls had games to play..while i was busy helping out with the campfire prep... (haha wat's new) Girl Guide in the house.. and that's what Girl Guide does best.. girls were building sandcastles too.. very pretty ones..     when it was outdoor cooking time... well solid fuel were taking some time to get food cooked so fire breather went about breathing fire again.. set up fire for them all using whatever twigs and branches we can find... And for that.. i am soo glad i was trained as a guide to do all this survival stuff..proud that at least SAC Guides taught me how to survive in the great outdoors do more garung things then ever, taught me to give my best in everything, as compared to some kuching kurak school's company where the guides there only knows how to sing songs, sing songs and hmmm only sing songs?? Guess there's where most guides in spore school falls into..but am glad at least there are more ZAI school coming up.. and well at least to show peeps out there that Guides are more then just Sing song crazy girls... (cos I AM NOT one of those who cant do dirty things.. we can also do rugged and COOL things) Anywayz... campfire was fun.. had to be the Emcee-last min..cos inital EMcee of camp wasnt able to make it.. and well despite me losing my voice.. haha i seem to be the only 1 who knows most of the songs in the song book.. so yupz.. impromptu Emcee-ing.. haha funny... and tot the girls some Guides song...  night went on well and fine...and gosh..by bed time i kinda concussed big time... though super dirty and sticky and all.. there were no lights in toilet.. super dark and me being super tired and sleepy... tied up my hammock (thanks Bear for loaning it to me) and just headed to bed...... Day 1 of GH girl's camp -16.06.08
 So yupz.. June is the month of CAMPs... been to 3 camps thus far (2 work camps and 1 Guides camp) and this week was my 4th camp for the month of June....Was super sian in the morning..when i had to lug my bag and leave my comfy bed SUPER early in the morning.. .oh wellz.. 3 days will past by real fast.. i was psychoing my mind to believe that... Anywayz.. left GH and went to our activity location..(not much details since i aint supposed to post anything about my work here due to the confidentiality issues) but well for most odac peeps and rock climbing peeps out there.. some might know where these pics are taken from... We all did rock climbing for the morning half of the day before heading to our rest place for the night with BBQ and night walk.... so yupz.. pics of Me..and i say its super UNGLAM pics... hahan Oh ya.. excuse the flowery shorts.. it was the theme of the camp where we were supposed to be in any flowery clothe to start the camp... and well that's the only thing i can find at home... Well since i've been to this rock wall before.. i din bother trying the flat wall lane..and went str to the one that i was previously stuck at (the reclining one).. didnt succeed that and so..went to this: Spiderwoman in the making   Hugging the wall... haha..refusing the give up.. super unglam... So yupz.. that was basically the highlight for day 1.. kinda good to debrief with the kiddos at work..about "Determination Vs Giving up"... so yupz.. day one of camp ended after a night walk out and then back at 'campsite'...RaptureSoul
